Terms of Use
Effective August 15, 2026
These Terms supplement the Apple Standard End User License Agreement that applies to Keptword. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.
Use of Keptword
Keptword is a productivity tool for creating on-device transcripts and notes. You may use it only in compliance with applicable law and the rights of other people.
Recording consent is your responsibility
You are responsible for obtaining every consent required before recording or transcribing a conversation. Recording laws vary by location and circumstance. Do not use Keptword to record anyone unlawfully or without required notice.
Accuracy and important decisions
Speech recognition and generated briefs can omit, mishear, or misunderstand content. Review the transcript and source conversation before relying on Keptword for legal, medical, financial, employment, safety, or other consequential decisions. Keptword is not professional advice.
Your content
You retain responsibility for and rights to the content you create. Keptword does not claim ownership of your transcripts or notes. You are responsible for protecting exported copies and your device backups.
Availability
On-device transcription depends on supported Apple speech assets, language availability, device resources, and microphone permission. Generated briefs additionally require an eligible device with Apple Intelligence enabled. Features may change as Apple platforms evolve.
Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keptword is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or perfect accuracy. Liability is limited as described in Apple’s Standard EULA and applicable law.
